AccountantsWorld has integrated its Accounting Power cloud-based system with the mobile payments processor Stripe.

Accountants using Accounting Power can now use Stripe to process credit card transactions from clients. New enhancements provide a dashboard for users to view and monitor all their merchant account activities, including any unpaid or partially unpaid invoices. All transactions made through Stripe are automatically recorded and populated in Accounting Power, giving accountants real-time updates on payment status and reducing the time spent on data entry.

"The most important goal of Accounting Power is to give accountants the tools, resources and training they need to make accounting as painless and efficient for both accountants and their small business clients as possible,” said Sharada Bhansali, co-founder and executive VP of AccountantsWorld, in a statement. “This enhancement is our latest step towards that goal. With this new feature, clients have the ability to get paid quickly and effortlessly, while accountants are able to reduce the time they spend on data entry as Stripe eliminates the need to manually process transactions."

In addition to the Stripe integration, AccountantsWorld also recently released other new updates to Accounting Power, including a unified dashboard to monitor all upcoming bills for multiple clients; faster payment workflow capabilities that enable accountants to send multiple payment approval requests; and mobile capabilities allowing clients to upload images of their invoices and payments received from their mobile devices into the program.
