Pleasanton, Calif. (May 7, 2003) -- Business management application maker Accpac International Inc. has released Simple Comptable 2003, the French language version of the company's Simply Accounting 2003 integrated accounting program for small businesses.
Simple Comptable 2003 includes features most requested from a base of over 400,000 registered Simply Accounting product users worldwide. Some of the new features and enhancements include:
- A bilingual Web store for integrated e-commerce
- Security features include a new check log report that allows small business owners to tightly control and monitor their internal accounting and a full-time audit trail
- Reporting enhancements that enable detailed reporting of up to 100 departments within a company
- General journal enhancements that allow users to track and store tax details and view additional comment fields in each journal entry
- Payroll enhancements that allow users to define extra payroll hourly rate fields, automatically view owed vacation pay, and view outstanding balances for employee advances
- Improved timesaving features such as the ability to assign a revenue account to specific customers for faster data entry, quick access to the Microsoft Windows calculator from the toolbar, and the ability to attach user-definable fields to transactions
- Departmental accounting (Pro version)
- Time billing and payroll integration (Pro version)
