AccuFund Adds Dashboard Module

AccuFund Inc. has upgraded its financial reporting and accounting software for nonprofit, municipal and government organizations to Version 4.03 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite.

In the latest release, the AccuFund system has been enhanced to allow full management and reporting of multiple entities in a single database. AccuFund has also introduced a dashboard module and enhanced several other existing modules, including the general ledger and client accounting.

AccuFund version 4.03 will support organizations that have multiple tax IDs but need to report activity on a consolidated basis, organizations that act as financial intermediaries and participants in self-directed services.

The reporting capabilities include all payroll, employee tax, 1099 and required 941R reporting. Any employee in the system can be working for more than one employer.

A new feature in the AccuFund Accounting Suite general ledger is the addition of a tab in the "Browse Accounts" window that allows users to find accounts "by query." By using an account description, classification or account mask, users can get a list of accounts and display actual budget, encumbrance and remaining amounts. This account information can be located by month, quarter, fiscal year or inception-to-date and compared to either the ledger, project or grant budget. From the tab display, users can generate reports of the results they see and drill down to the source documents behind the data.

The new AccuFund dashboard is a customizable component that provides a graphical view of the current status of modules in the AccuFund Accounting Suite and of the financial activity across the organization. Users have the ability to configure the data most relevant to them, pulling data from different sources, viewing it in either graph or grid mode and generating up to six different graphs for each user.

A major enhancement to the client accounting module is the addition of a link to the payroll module to track employees' time spent serving clients. The specific labor performed can be linked directly to the client in the time sheets.

"We are always working to develop enhancements or new features for the AccuFund Accounting Suite that will further add to its convenience and flexibility," said AccuFund president Peter Stam in a statement. "Our customers tell us what capabilities they would like to have to make their accounting tasks easier. We use this feedback to respond with an accounting solution that includes unique and powerful capabilities yet offers amazing simplicity."

Version 4.03 of the AccuFund Accounting Suite features other enhancements to the core system and enhancements to several other key modules, including accounts payable, cash receipts, general ledger, client invoicing, database administrator, employee portal, grants management, human resources and payroll.

The AccuFund Accounting Suite Version 4.03 is available in both Standard and Professional editions. The cost starts at $2,995.00 and $6,595.00, respectively.
