Adaptive Insights deepens software integration with NetSuite

Adaptive Insights, a cloud CPM (corporate performance management) software provider, announced deeper integration with NetSuite at SuiteWorld 2017.

When integrated with NetSuite, Adaptive Insights appears as a tab within the software. Approximately 90 percent of NetSuite customers create additional custom fields within the ERP software, according to founder and chairman of Adaptive Insights Rob Hull. Now, those customizations can be pulled right into Adaptive Insights to create bespoke data views.

Hull gave the use case scenario of the monthly close process as an example of how the software integration works. Adaptive Insights’ software provides reporting capabilities that help with accounting processes such as the month end close. It can pull actuals from an ERP software—in this case NetSuite—and provide variance analysis, allowing the accounting or finance professional to conduct a trial close.

Adaptive Insights + NetSuite

Post NetSuite’s acquisition by Oracle, a $9.3 billion deal that closed in November, NetSuite partners have noticed no difference in their dealings. However, at SuiteWorld, being held April 24-27 in Las Vegas, Oracle CEO Mark Hurd promised major global expansions that NetSuite will now be able to leverage for its own partners.

Adaptive Insights already operates in more than 50 countries. Hull said that the company plans to continue to expand internationally.
