ADP has collaborated with cloud service commerce company AppDirect to launch the first cloud-based HR and workforce management marketplace for companies to use and manage the applications needed for their workplace operations.
Made available to companies Wednesday, the ecosystem hosts applications from human capital management solutions provider ADP and other trusted providers. Clients, partner companies and application developers also have access to ADP’s API through a secure cloud platform so they can enhance data-sharing capabilities across their enterprise applications with a single set of workforce data.
"Whether you're a small business or a global enterprise, integrating data and workflows across applications is critical to effectively managing your organization,” stated Don Weinstein, senior vice president of product management at ADP. “Yet, most organizations today are still hampered by islands of information that are stuck inside HR and other business systems. The ADP Marketplace will help clients simplify data-sharing by providing real-time integration with other key enterprise applications and reducing deployment times with pre-built integrations. At the same time, the ADP Marketplace is a key platform for partners to reach the largest base of HCM clients and workforce data in the industry."
With AppDirect’s monetization and management platform, the marketplace will provide access to a customized catalogue of services and solutions for ADP customers to find, buy, use and manage through a single sign-on and integrated billing.

Several of the partners that have joined the ADP Marketplace include spend management solutions provider Concur, job applicant and onboarding technology company GetHired and social recognition solutions provider Globoforce. Other partners working with ADP to build the marketplace include Cornerstone OnDemand, LifeCare and PaySimple.
