ADP Named CalCPA Affinity Partner

Roseland, N.J. (June 9, 2004) -- ADP Small Business Services has inked a deal to become the preferred payroll services vendor for the California CPA Society ’s 27,500 members.

Through an agreement which names ADP as a CalCPA affinity partner, CalCPA members can receive discounts and other advantages for using ADP payroll and related services.

“ADP is a perfect match with our membership and have been good supporters of ours in the past, on the local level involved with chapters and sponsors of other programs,” said John Angelo, division director, member relations at CalCPA. “Our affinity partner program has two purposes, as a useful service to members that usually that takes the form of discounts and other opportunities, and also to have a revenue stream to help our bottom line.”

Angelo said CalCPA will provide membership contact information to ADP twice a year so they can market their services to members. CalCPA will also promote ADP's offerings in its e-newsletters and on its Web site. He said CalCPA members in practice and industry will also receive “significant” discounts on ADP products and services as well as direct access to ADP service personnel.

ADP’s payroll services include calculation, payment, and filing of federal, state, and local payroll taxes, signed payroll checks and direct deposit vouchers and a complete set of reports to manage payroll information. Users have their choice of three payroll entry methods - phone, fax, Internet - and full access to ADP’s customer service team. CalCPA members can take advantage of ADP’s 401(k) and worker’s compensation insurance offerings.

ADP Small Business Services was also named an affinity partner of the Connecticut Society of CPAs in September 2003.
