ADP partners with ZipRecruiter

Payroll giant ADP has teamed up with the online employment site ZipRecruiter to help small businesses find qualified job candidates.

ADP plans to bring ZipRecruiter’s matching technology to its customer base of more than 500,000 small businesses around the country to help them hire the right talent across different industries. ZipRecruiter’s artificial intelligence technology will be a built-in feature in all RUN Powered by ADP human resources systems.

ZipRecruiter will be accessible directly from within the payroll software without any extra sign-on needed. The integration with ZipRecruiter will add more than 100 job boards to the RUN Powered by ADP recruitment feature.

“In today's tight labor market, finding great talent is one of the toughest parts of running a small or midsized business,” said ADP Small Business Solutions and Human Resources Outsourcing president Maria Black in a statement. “The small businesses we work with don’t have the luxury of having a position vacant for long. Finding and hiring the right candidate quickly is critical to their success. That’s why we're partnering with ZipRecruiter: to help companies hire smarter, giving them back valuable time to focus on running their businesses.”

The tightening labor market has created more demand for workers and an increasing talent shortage in many sectors, including the accounting profession. ADP tracks private sector employment every month in an influential national employment report that is usually issued a few days ahead of the U.S. government's official job numbers. Last month, the ADP National Employment Report indicated that the private sector added 234,000 jobs last month (see ADP finds private sector added 234,000 jobs in January). Last month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported the unemployment rate at 4.1 percent, with wages growing the most since the end of the Great Recession.
