For the second time this year, business software supplier Oracle Corp. will have to replace a top accounting executive.Oracle chief financial officer Greg Maffei is leaving after just four months on the job. He had replaced Harry You, who left the company in March after just eight months with the company. You had replaced Jeff Henley, who held the job for 13 years before stepping aside to serve as Oracle's chairman.

Maffei, 45, plans to work for an undisclosed company, according to a statement released by Oracle. He will remain with Oracle until Nov. 15 and then hand over his duties to the company's co-president, Safra Catz, a former banker who handled the job for several months earlier this year. In a statement, Maffei said that his resignation is not a reflection on Oracle, its executives or its employees.

Oracle had announced the hiring of Maffei in June; he was known in the industry for having served as the chief financial officer of Microsoft Corp. in the late 1990s.
