AICPA & CIMA debut learning system for accountants

The Association of International Certified Professional Accountants introduced an educational program for accountants in the U.S., the U.K. and other parts of the world.

The online learning platform includes a mobile app for learning on the go, a learning library where purchased content is categorized, as well as online learning and webcasts through the single platform. Other features include one-click launch of courses and webcasts, a webcast calendar used to book events quickly and track registrations, and more than 50 languages to choose from on the interface.

The Association, which unites the American Institute of CPAs and the U.K.'s Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, plans to release new features throughout 2023, including knowledge-exchange communities and dynamic learning journeys. The new system provides more than 2,500 courses and webcasts. Many of the courses offer continuing professional education credits.

"The reimagining of our learning portfolio represented an opportunity for us to rethink, refresh and transform our approach," said Michael Grant, AICPA & CIMA senior director of learning innovation and assessment, in a statement Tuesday. "Our new system offers dynamic learning journeys, which will allow accounting and finance professionals to address the skills they need to remain relevant using consistently updated course material."
