Another Merger Announced in Denver Market

Neuman, Ranft & Co. LLC will merge its practice into Denver-area CPA firm The Seff Group PC.

Neuman Ranft is a local firm that has been practicing in Denver for over 20 years. Both firms offer accounting, tax and consulting services to closely held and family-owned businesses in a wide range of industries, as well as serving the needs of high-net-worth individuals. Both firms have worked to position themselves as providers of services normally associated with national firms, but with an emphasis on fostering personal relationships.

"This transaction continues our pursuit of bringing together the best CPA firms of similar philosophy and clientele in the Denver area to build an organization that offers breadth and depth of services to our clients," said Seff Group founder and stockholder James Seff, in a statement.

Don Neuman will relocate with his staff to The Seff Group office in Cherry Creek, Colo. This is the second transaction announced by The Seff Group in the past three years as it expands its presence in the Denver market.

In January, Lakewood, Colo.-based McCutcheon & Co., a firm specializing in nonprofit work, announced that it had merged with Anton Collins Mitchell, a Denver firm with about 60 employees.
