Aplos Software introduced its API, enabling software providers to connect to Aplos’ online nonprofit software so they can serve their nonprofit and church customers across different solutions and securely share that data.
The API is specifically designed to connect with donor management and church management software, online donation platforms, and payroll software, sharing data between those programs.
“We are excited that we are able to respond to the requests we have been receiving from other software providers that also serve nonprofits and churches,” stated Aplos CEO Tim Goetz. “Our new API will open opportunities for them to strengthen their competitive advantage.”
With the API, donor or church management software can send transactions to be posted in Aplos Accounting, or contribution data to Aplos Donations. As an web-based nonprofit and church accounting software provider, Aplos serves small and mid-sized nonprofits.
“We want nonprofits and churches to be successful which means having the best technology within reach to help them do it,” stated Goetz. “The API will allow these organizations a convenient way to keep their data up to date across all of their platforms and reduce the amount of time required to manage their organization.”
