Every business professional can relate to the stack of business cards that accumulate over the years, to later be sorted without the full context of their initial delivery.
About.me’s Intro attempts to solve that by turning paper swaps into digital ones, enabling users to create a sharable, digital business card. This not only eliminates the problem of a loose collection of cards, it lets users control what elements of their identity they share, and keep track of exactly who they shared them with. This information is then integrated into the user’s existing contacts.
Intro users create their “business card” through About.me, a platform for simple user profiles, which proves to be the most intensive part of Intro’s overall quick and easy process.
