As another winter season comes to an end, so do most people’s patience with the travel plans that have been delayed, canceled or generally made unbearable by all the usual variables, weather-related or otherwise.

With plenty of work travel to come this year, it’s smart to load up on the few tools that can ease the slog.

One of these is the crowd-sourced app MiFlight. Currently covering more than 50 of the busiest airports in the world, with plans to add more, the app gathers estimates on security checkpoint wait times from travelers and shares that information with all users.

These estimates, combined with maps of every airport terminal currently in its database, are meant to add another layer of intel to the travel planning process.

The simple interface makes sharing and receiving wait times easy, so even if they’re longer than you like, the frustration is communal—as is the contentment at helping warn your fellow traveler.

MiFlight is available for iOS.
