Schutte & Hilgendorf has expanded its audit practice to include governmental auditing and accounting services.
The firm said it is one of the few in the Prescott, Ariz., area that meets the stringent educational requirements imposed for audits performed in accordance with Governmental Auditing Standards.
There are very few local public accounting firms willing to do government audits because of the additional time and resources required, causing many entities to look in the Phoenix area for their accounting and auditing services, said partner Gidget Schutte in a statement. We want to be the local firm that Northern Arizona government entities, cities, towns, non-profit organizations, and schools consider when going out to bid for their annual audits. We have the resources and the expertise to do the work, and were right here in Yavapai County.
