ATX Unveils New Opportunities for Accountants

Caribou, Maine (June 7, 2004) -- ATX has begun offering two business-user versions of its Total Accounting Office called Total Command and Cash Command and plans to launch a reseller program for the new products.

“We’re providing a mirror version of Total Accounting Office, actually tailored for accountants so it enhances their tax and write-up services,” says David Olsen, director of product and business development.

TAO, powered by AccTrak21, provides accounting capabilities, as well as online banking, CRM and practice management. Total Command has an integrated series of financial modules that include general ledger, AR, AP, payroll, cash management, CRM, document management and BusinessSmarts analytics components. Total Command is geared toward single users, small businesses and middle-market enterprises.

Cash Command is designed for small business and has tools to help small business owners keep daily receipts and disbursement transactions running. “It gives accountants a simple checks-and-balances program that they can provide to their clients that will simplify their monthly data migration process,” says Olsen. “Upon importing data into TAO, the accountant can generate various analysis reports giving them more advanced CFO capabilities.”

Cash Command costs $200 for a single-user license and $300 for a multi-user license, while Total Command starts at $2,000 for up to three users.

ATX is also developing a reseller program for the products. The Professional Partner Program will consist of three tiers: Silver, Gold and Platinum. The program’s margins will begin at 10 percent and Olsen hopes to attract at least 150 partners within the next year.
