Avalara and Intacct Execs Join ITA Board

Avalara’s director of accountant and industry relations Brian Austin and Intacct’s senior channel executive Peyton Burch have been appointed to the Information Technology Alliance(ITA) board of directors to serve three-year terms, respectively.

[IMGCAP(1)]The ITA membership is comprised of executives from technology consultants, top accounting firms, and technology vendors serving the accounting marketplace.

Avalara has been a member of the ITA since 2005, with Austin’s personal involvement dating back to 2003.

[IMGCAP(2)]Burch has been working with the ITA since the late 1990’s and currently leads the ITA Membership Committee. He previously headed the ITA Marketing Committee, participated on conference planning committees and has spoken at several ITA conferences.

For Austin, this appointment follows his recent service on several ITA committees as well, including the Marketing and Communications Committee, the ITA Leadership Alliance Committee, and the Onsite Committee where he led the Vendor Member services outreach during the ITA’s twice annual meetings.

“I’m excited to have both Brian and Peyton joining our board of directors. Peyton has been involved with the ITA since its inception as both a consulting firm member and a channel executive and Brian has been a key leader of our communications and vendor relations efforts,” said ITA president and former McGladrey partner Stan Mork. “Their backgrounds and experience will be invaluable as we develop strategies to continue to increase the value of the ITA membership and grow our organization.”
