Web-based sales and use tax compliance product developer Avalara announced an integration of its sales tax calculation and reporting product AvaTax Calc for Retail with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
The company made the announcement at Microsoft Convergence 2011 on the heels of the beta version of Dynamics AX 2012 release.
AvaTax Calc for Retail automates the complex sales tax calculation and reporting process required by high-transaction volume retail organizations. The product provides up-to-date state and local jurisdiction data; tiered, bracket and threshold taxes; and product taxability rules, reducing the manual processes associated with maintaining sales tax information and liability.
