Avalara Partners with Institute of Certified Bookkeepers

Avalara and the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers have partnered to grant ICB members access to Avalara’s compliance services.

ICB is a British not-for-profit organization with an objective to promote the bookkeeping profession worldwide.

ICB members will have accesses to Avalara’s newly accredited compliance cloud platform, VAT Expert, and services that help deliver an end-to-end suite of transactional value-added tax compliance solutions for determination, forms management and returns preparation, processing and remittance.

“This new partnership allows Avalara to provide our comprehensive, ‘enterprise-quality’ VAT determination solutions to ICB clients at an affordable price,” stated Tom Pacholke, managing director EMEA at Avalara. “We believe that automation of VAT compliance is inevitable and receiving this accreditation demonstrates the value of Avalara’s automated solutions to businesses. VAT Expert is an excellent example of how we can enable both bookkeeping practices and their clients to benefit from years of our technology experience and innovation.”

“We are delighted to collaborate with Avalara to provide valuable tools and services to our members,” said Garry Carter, CEO of ICB Global, in a statement. “Our mission is to assist our members in their endeavor to deliver value as integral, trusted members of the financial profession. Avalara is another important way that our members can provide differentiated value to their clients.”

Avalara will also have the opportunity to work with ICB members and their clients for educational and co-marketing activities to support the needs of organizations doing business both in-country as well as cross-border.
