B2Bee Introduces Online Bookkeeping Application

Online invoicing, expense-tracking and profit-reporting tool developer B2Bee has added “Books” to its application, a full-fledged bookkeeping application aimed at small businesses and entrepreneurs.

B2Bee Books includes a general journal, trial balance, balance sheet, and P&L reports.

The Bee is available to try for free for 30 days and a monthly subscription fee of $14 thereafter. The Bee also offers a free plan, which allows customers to use all features, with a limit of three clients.

“With the addition of ‘Books,’ the Bee provides a simple and easy-to-use alternative to QuickBooks for service businesses such as attorneys, Web designers and consultants,” said B2Bee founder Scott Miller. “Entrepreneurs can focus on customer-facing activities such as invoicing and time tracking, while inviting their accountants to login to the Bee and tidy things up a bit.”

A portion of every monthly payment from every customer is donated to helping fund honey bee sustainability research at Penn State University.
