Tom Hastings returns to BCG & Co. as chief operating officer. He will oversee the strategic financial planning for the firm and will also focus on developing, finding and retaining talent.
Hastings initially joined the firm in 1995, where he worked in the firm’s assurance services practice. In 2008, he moved up to partner and led the firm’s nonprofit practice. Hastings decided to venture deeper into the nonprofit community and left the firm in 2011 to serve as chief financial officer at Barberton Community Foundation.
“We are excited to bring Tom back in his new role with the firm. His strong financial background and a passion for developing people will take our firm to the next level as we continue our strategic growth plan,” managing partner Dave Brockman said in a statement.
Tom earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Akron and is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
