BDO Seidman LLP announced its expansion into the Phoenix market with the opening of a new office.
The Chicago-based firm, which has offices in more than 30 cities around the country, had previously served clients in the Phoenix market through its Los Angeles practice
Chief executive Jack Weisbaum said that the firm continues to grow as part of the country's increased regulatory environment. "We have been working with Phoenix-based clients for a number of years now and the time is right for us to establish a permanent presence in this important Southwest market," he said, in a statement.
Susan Wolak, audit partner and assurance business line leader for the new Phoenix practice, said in a statement that the complete line of BDO Seidman services will be offered, including assurance, tax, financial planning, business valuations, risk, financial recovery, litigation support and fraud investigation services. "We are poised for growth and it is our expectation that we will expand aggressively over the next several years," she said.
The firm ranked No. 9 on Accounting Today's 2006 list of Top 100 Firms, with revenues of $440 million. The firm is also a member of BDO International .
