BDO Seidman Reelects CEO

BDO Seidman has elected Jack Weisbaum to his second four-year term as the accounting firm's CEO.

The firm, which ranks seventh on Accounting Today's 2008 list of the Top 100 Firms, experienced an 81 percent increase in revenue growth in the past four years. It also had a net gain of 150 SEC clients between 2003 and 2007, for a total of 368 SEC clients.

Prior to being elected CEO in 2004, Weisbaum, 68, served as chairman of the firm's board of directors. Prior to his board responsibilities, he was national leader of the BDO's specialized services business line. He has more than 40 years of experience in public accounting.
