BearingPoint Names Former Nike Exec as CFO

McLean, Va. (March 26, 2003) - BearingPoint Inc., the consulting outfit formerly known as KPMG Consulting, has named former Nike executive Robert S. Falcone as its new chief financial officer.

He replaces Robert C. Lamb, who left the firm late last year to re-join FleetBoston Financial as executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Falcone, who will join the firm’s global headquarters in McLean, Va. on April 1, will be responsible for BearingPoint's corporate finance and accounting globally. He will also be a member of its executive leadership team, which is responsible for the firm’s strategic direction.

Falcone most recently served as chief financial officer for consumer electronics Internet retailer 800.com. He previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer for footwear and apparel giant Nike Inc. from 1992 to 1998. He began his career at Price Waterhouse, where he spent 21 years, including eight years as an audit partner. Falcone also serves on the boards of directors for RadioShack Corp., The Nautilus Group and International Microcomputer Software Inc.
