New York (April 1, 2002) -- Andersen Worldwide SC said it would name a chief executive April 2 to succeed Joe Berardino, who resigned March 26.
Aldo Cardoso, chairman of Andersen Worldwide, whose name had been mentioned as a possible successor to Berardino, told CNN that he is not a candidate for the post and would remain in his capacity as chairman.
