New York — The Peachtree 2005 line of accounting software features a new and enhanced feature set that includes UPS OnLine Tools and the recently released Peachtree Payroll Service, among several other features.
With UPS OnLine Tools Integration, small businesses can now manage their shipping from the Peachtree sales invoicing screen to print shipping labels, estimate shipping costs and store tracking numbers. The Peachtree Payroll Service is a new add-on for Peachtree 2005 and Peachtree 2004, which includes integration with the employee, job and general ledger information.
Other new features include integration with Word; the ability to distribute reports created in Peachtree via e-mail to internal and remote employees, or an outside accountant; automatic purchase order creation; and the ability to assign serial numbers to specific individual inventory items for tracking, recall and warranty purposes.
Also available direct from Best Software are Peachtree Premium Accounting for Manufacturing, Premium Accounting for Distribution, and a Premium Accountants’ Edition, as well as a multi-user value pack for each solution.
