New America Software has formally released its MultiTax software for download after about a year of beta testing with various tax preparation businesses.
The software is available in English and Spanish and is targeted at tax preparers who serve immigrant and delinquent taxpayers. Users can input taxpayer and dependent information once and use it across multiple tax years. The software offers the ability to view and prepare multiple tax years simultaneously, and streamlines the process for preparing, managing and tracking Individual Tax Identification Numbers and W-7 forms in the same system.
