Nonprofit-focused accounting software maker Blackbaud Inc. today unveiled its Accountant Referral Program, which is designed to provide software incentives and additional resources to accountants that choose to refer the company's The Financial Edge fund accounting product to their nonprofit clients.
In addition to a referral bonus, all accountant members receive access to free educational trainings, "sandbox" demo environments and sneak peeks at upcoming product launches.
"CPAs represent a very important professional workforce whose assistance nonprofits continually rely on," said Scott Bechler, who heads up Blackbaud's partnership program. "Blackbaud's new Accountant Referral Program will provide CPAs the knowledge and resources they need to help advise nonprofit organizations on financial software that best meets their unique needs."
