Blackbaud posts 3Q Earnings; Launches CEO Search

Citing double-digit increases in service and maintenance and subscriptions revenue, non-profit software publisher Blackbaud Inc. reported an 18-percent rise in third-quarter revenue, versus the year-ago quarter.

Third-quarter profits for the company held basically flat at $7.7 million. Blackbaud said that revenues from service and subscription and maintenance rose 19 percent and 17 percent, to $14.5 million and $20 million, respectively.

In addition, the company said that it has launched a search for a new chief executive to succeed Robert J. Sywolski, whose contract expires in March 2006.
