Over two dozen BlumShapiro staff members and their families volunteered this month to donate approximately 1,200 bags of Thanksgiving food items to New Haven, Conn., nonprofit Christian Community Action, benefiting seniors and families in the area.
The New England firm's sixth annual "Food Basket Campaign for Christian Community Action" donated nonperishable items for a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Furthermore, Christian Community Action distributed a turkey with every full bag packed by BlumShapiro.
Since the program's inception in 2012, BlumShapiro's "Food Basket Campaign" has donated more than 10,000 Thanksgiving meals in the New Haven area.
