Botkeeper partners with Xero

Botkeeper, which uses artificial intelligence and outsourcing to provide automated bookkeeping solutions to accounting firms, has partnered with Xero to use its cloud accounting platform in delivering its services.

Through the partnership, Xero client data is fed into the Botkeeper automated bookkeeping platform and reconciliation is performed as Botkeeper’s bots learn the data. The collaboration is aimed at improving Botkeeper’s product integrations in general, a spokesperson for the company said.

“With Xero’s ease-of-use and market adoption combined with the enhanced automation capabilities of Botkeeper, accounting firms are seeing substantial improvements in performance, scale, and efficiency,” said Botkeeper co-founder and CEO Enrico Palmerino, in a statement.

“By teaming with Botkeeper, we are helping firms leverage technology to reduce their workload, improve workflows and have access to real-time insights,” said David Emmerman, head of enterprise at Xero, in a statement. “These advancements are helping to reshape the way accountants work, and firms are in a unique position to provide more valuable advisory services so they can begin working with clients in new ways to achieve their financial goals.”
