Previously called Savant Tax & Consulting, the new name was chosen to reflect the broader scope of services the Savant subsidiary provides, including accounting, tax, consulting, payroll, business succession planning, retirement planning and business advisory services to businesses, business owners, individuals and families. SABA now has over 140 accounting, tax and advisory professionals.

SABA added Professional Business Management, a Barrington, Illinois-based firm specializing in healthcare, as well as Summit CPA, a Rockford, Illinois-based firm focused on business owners. Both acquisitions were effective as of Aug. 31. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"The SABA name reflects the organization we have built and the comprehensive services we provide today. The additions of PBM and Summit help further strengthen our ability to support business owners, individuals and families through coordinated advice and planning."

Savant Wealth Management, based in Rockford, Illinois, ranked at the top of Accounting Today's 2026 Wealth Magnets list with $49.6 billion in assets under management and 826 employees.
