Brixey & Meyer Acquires Kamphaus, Henning & Hood

Brixey & Meyer has expanded its presence in Cincinnati by acquiring a second CPA firm in the area, Kamphaus, Henning & Hood.

KHH’s 15 employees are joining Brixey & Meyer as a result of the deal. Last October, the Dayton, Ohio-based firm acquired Lee Knose & Company, another Cincinnati-area firm. Brixey & Meyer now has 65 employees and four locations after the latest deal. KHH’s partners and staff will be moving into Brixey & Meyer’s existing offices in Cincinnati.

The firm, founded by Doug Meyer and David Brixey, provides a variety of services, including tax compliance and consulting, state and local tax incentives, audit, assurance, business valuation, CFO services, strategic planning and business advisory functions. The firm plans further acquisitions in the future,

“The No. 1 attribute we look for is whether or not the firm meshes well with our existing culture,” Meyer said in a statement. “Our goal with a transaction is to not only continue to provide the clients with exceptional service but to also secure additional value to those clients through our unique service offerings.”
