Camico Mutual Insurance and Liberty International Underwriters are partnering on an insurance program for CPA firms that provides coverage against malpractice claims.
The new program is expected to strengthen and expand Camicos existing capacity for providing coverage and risk management services, especially for larger CPA firms. The new programs policy wording will match existing Camico policy forms, and firms will have direct access to Camicos advisory, loss prevention and claims services.
The new program enables all of our policyholders to continue receiving the services theyve come to rely on for their day-to-day practice needs, said Camico CEO Ric Rosario, CPA, in a statement.
The joint program will be administered through Camicos wholly owned subsidiary, Camico Insurance Services, and will focus primarily on policies with limits of $3 million and higher. It will offer coverage to protect CPAs from malpractice claims and damages from errors committed while providing professional services. The policies will be underwritten by LIU using Liberty Mutual Group companies that are rated A for excellent by A.M. Best Co.
