CCH Enhances ProSystem fx Workstream and Practice SaaS

CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, has introduced several enhancements to its ProSystem fx Workstream and ProSystem fx Practice SaaS offerings.

For ProSystem fx Workstream, CCH added monitored project notification alerts whereby users are notified a specified number of days prior to the planned finish date if the project is less than complete. The product also features project assignment timing, which allows for role and work step assignments to be made independent of project creation.

In addition, Workstream provides the option of being able to e-mail or post notifications to a dashboard for monitoring.

With Practice SaaS, employee workflow can now be tracked to identify billable and non-billable hours. Other improvements include: a streamlined billing process; new invoice and statement formatting options which facilitate customization; and expanded accounts receivable posting.

“With the kickoff of tax season under way, it’s critical that CPA firms have the ability to easily manage their workflows to ensure efficient assignment, tracking and movement of projects from the time they come in the door through delivery and billing,” said CCH’s director of product management, workflow, Brian Steinert. “The integrated, centralized platforms supporting newly enhanced versions of ProSystem fx Workstream and Practice SaaS allow firms to focus time on their work and their customers.”
