CCH has introduced an on-premise version of its document management software,
The document management system can either run on a firm’s own network or be accessed over the Web through the original Software-as-a-Service, or SaaS, version. ProSystem fx is part of the CCH ProSystem fx Suite of tax and accounting firm software, and integrates with ProSystem fx Tax, ProSystem fx Engagement, ProSystem fx Portal, and ProSystem fx Scan. Document OP also integrates with Microsoft Office.
Like the SaaS version of ProSystem fx Document, the on-premise version uses the ProSystem fx Suite Common Client Database and Administration Manager to manage firm, staff and client data. Both the on-premise and firm-hosted versions securely store information using advanced encryption coding and password-protected access.
Separately, CCH announced that Enterprise Worldwide, an alliance of independent accounting and advisory firms, has selected the CCH Learning & Development Academy to provide audit training to member firms.
