CCH Plans Integration with Outside Applications

CCH plans to introduce a new Open Integration Platform to enable customers and outside vendors to integrate their applications and customized software with CCH’s cloud system.

CCH CEO Mike Sabbatis previewed the new approach during a recent presentation in Dallas. “Critically important to a firm’s success today is the ability to take a ‘best in process’ approach, with optimized technology solutions and workflows to realize the highest productivity across processes—and CCH offers this,” he said in a statement. “CCH’s best-in-process solutions facilitate work across multiple workflows in a streamlined and seamless way.”

CCH has launched the Open Integration Platform Partner Program, working with customer and early-adopter vendors this tax season. A full market release of CCH’s Open Integration Platform is planned for the first half of this year.

Workflow management software provider XCM Solutions has joined CCH’s early adopter program and developed integration with both the SaaS and on-premise versions of ProSystem fx Document. XCM customers now have the ability to create links from XCM projects to files stored in ProSystem fx Document, and access those files on demand.

“We’re very excited to partner with CCH in leveraging their Open Integration Platform to serve our customers better than ever this tax season,” said XCM Solutions CEO Mark Albrecht in a statement.

XCM delivered the new capability with the help of CCH Integrator Kits, which provides tools and instructions that partners can use to integrate their applications with CCH’s software.
