CCH Small Firm Services released ATX 2012, the latest version of the company’s tax software, designed to offer improved efficiency, expanded client customization options and a new user interface.

ATX 2012 features a number of enhancements to make it more efficient when working on client returns. The new software also offers more opportunities to customize the way tax professionals manage their client relationships, from the way returns are presented to the content of client communications. The expanded ability to customize various elements of ATX 2012 reflects input the company received from its customers.

“The enhancements we’ve added to ATX 2012 make tax preparation as simple and stress-free as possible, and that’s a testament to a lot of hard work by a lot of dedicated people who took the time to listen to what tax professionals said they needed and then turned those comments into the software enhancements in ATX 2012, said CCH SFS president Jeff Gramlich. “Tax professionals told us they needed software which met their unique needs and didn’t force them into cookie-cutter solutions. For example, our new Client Communications Manager gives clients the ability to create custom content for their client interactions, and the Return Manager feature gives preparers the ability to manage their clients and workflow in the way which works best for them.”
