Tax and accounting software provider CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, has attained Gold Certified Partner status in the Microsoft Partner Program for its CertiTax suite.CCH's CertiTax suite provides integrated real-time sales and use tax calculations that automate tax compliance for accounting and tax departments. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners receive benefits such as access, training and support.
As a requirement for achieving Gold Certified Partner status, CCH had to declare a Microsoft Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner's capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies for customers looking for particular types of products. Each competency has its own set of requirements and benefits. CCH's MS competency was in the ISV/Software Solutions category.
"Microsoft recognizes CCH as a new Gold Certified Partner for demonstrating its expertise providing customer satisfaction using Microsoft products and technology," said Allison Watson, vice president of the Worldwide Partner Sales and Marketing Group at Microsoft Corp., in a statement, adding, "Customers are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities."
The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in October 2003.
