New integration features built into the CertiTax product suite from CCH Tax and Accounting will provide users with an easy interface between CertiTax and Great Plains, Axapta and Solomon products.

According to CCH, the CertiTax integration will allow an accounting department to manage sales tax for all its customers and products under a single tax schedule.

CertiTax is a Web-based sales and use tax calculation solution that combines software with a comprehensive database of sales taxability rules and rates. The CertiTax suite includes CertiShip, an address verification module, and CertiCalc, a Web-based sales tax calculation engine and utilizes a database of taxability rules and rates research for more than 950 categories and subcategories.

For users who use accounting software other than Great Plains, Axapta and Solomon, the new software development kit for CertiTax also allows custom integration of accounting software, and includes interfaces for Web Services, COM, Java and MS Commerce Server documentation and sample files to minimize programming time and effort.

More information on the software is available at www.salestax.com.
