FLOTEK INDUSTRIES ENGAGES UHY: Flotek Industries, a Houston-based manufacturer and marketer of innovative specialty chemicals, and downhole drilling and production equipment, dismissed UHY Mann Frankfort Stein & Lipp LLP as its auditor and engaged UHY LLP as its replacement.In a filing, Flotek said that UMFSL resigned as the company's auditors as a result of joining UHY, an accounting firm consolidator with which UMFSL had an affiliation.

BELL DISMISSES PWC: Bell Industries Inc., a provider of technology products and managed lifecycle services, has dismissed its auditor, Big Four firm PricewaterhouseCoopers, and hired BKD as its replacement.

El Segundo, Calif.-based Bell Industries said that its audit committee made the decision to change auditors following a bidding process. PwC's reports on Bell's financials as of and for the years ended Dec. 31, 2004 and 2005, contained no adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principle.

DEWEY ELECTRONICS RETAINS AMPER POLITZINER: Oakland, N.J.-based Dewey Electronics Corp. dismissed its independent accountant, Big Four firm Deloitte, and named Amper Politziner Mattia PC as its successor.

In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, Dewey, a designer and manufacturer of military electronics, said that Deloitte's report on its financials for the fiscal years ended June 30, 2004 and 2005, contained no adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, nor was it qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles.

GAMING PARTNERS INTERNATIONAL TAPS MOSS ADAMS: Gaming Partners International, a Las Vegas-based supplier of gaming table equipment, hired Moss Adams as its new auditor. Moss Adams replaces Big Four firm Deloitte as GPI's independent accountant.
