Change of Auditors

MCGLADREY TO AUDIT JTAThe Jacksonville, Fla., office of McGladrey & Pullen has been engaged to audit the Jacksonville Transportation Authority. The JTA, in conjunction with the Florida Department of Transportation and the city of Jacksonville, develops and implements construction plans to improve traffic flow in the Jacksonville area.

DRI APPOINTS GRANT THORNTON

DRI Corp., a Dallas-based marketer and manufacturer of IT products and services, has appointed Grant Thornton as its new auditor, replacing PricewaterhouseCoopers.

In a filing, the company said that the change was approved by its audit committee and board of directors. The reports of PwC on DRI's financials for the fiscal years ended Dec. 31, 2006 and 2007, did not contain any adverse opinion or disclaimer of opinion, and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles. However, two paragraphs said, "The consolidated financial statements have been prepared assuming that the company will continue as a going concern."

GASCO ENGAGES KPMG

Gasco Energy Inc., an Englewood, Colo.-based energy concern, has dismissed its auditor, Hein & Associates, and named Big Four firm KPMG as its new independent accountant. In a filing, the company said that the change in auditors didn't stem from any disagreement over accounting principles or practices, and the dismissal and the subsequent engagement of KPMG was approved by the audit committee and the board. Hein's audit reports on Gasco's consolidated financials for the years ended Dec. 31, 2006 and 2007, did not contain an adverse opinion or a disclaimer of opinion, and were not qualified or modified as to uncertainty, audit scope or accounting principles.
