Citrin Cooperman Brings in Reimer & Co.

Citrin Cooperman has added the partners and staff of Leon M. Reimer & Co., P.C. to its roster.

The LMR partners, directors and staff who are joining the firm have expertise in accounting, tax and litigation support services, including forensic accounting, fraud investigations and white collar crime.

“When taking in new partners and staff, we evaluate whether they can strengthen the services we offer,” Citrin Cooperman managing partner Joel Cooperman said in a statement. “The LMR professionals add depth to Citrin Cooperman’s real estate, construction, tax, and litigation support practices.  They also share our entrepreneurial culture and commitment to high-quality client service.”

Leon Reimer, who founded LMR more than 40 years ago, as well as partners Richard Barbash, Craig Cafaro, Terence Halloran and Sanford Levitt, and directors Joseph DiPietro and Steven Hurok, will operate out of Citrin Cooperman’s Manhattan office.

“At Citrin Cooperman, we will continue to provide our clients with the personal attention that has been the foundation of our practice,” said Reimer. “In addition, our clients will now have access to a wider spectrum of services in such areas as valuation, succession planning, bankruptcy and wealth management.”
