CohnReznick was recognized in part for their women-focused program WomenCAN: A Collaborative Advocacy Network for Women, launched in 2005. The program looks to provide mentors, round table discussions, leadership courses, and other opportunities for professional women.

The firm was also recognized for their Executive Women’s Forum (EWF), also started in 2005, which provides events for women to build relationships, engage with firm clients, fellow professionals, and the accounting community as a whole.

“We’re honored to be recognized among the Winner’s Circle recipients,” said Risa Lavine, chief of staff at CohnReznick, per a statement. “I’m so proud of our firm’s commitment to women in leadership and the results that we’ve seen. Year over year, the number of female partners at our Firm is stable and trending upward as a percentage of the overall partner headcount. In addition, women’s retention is now on par with that of men.”

The full panel of Winner’s Circle Award winners in the "Women In Leadership" category - including firms Lurie, Mountjoy Chilton Medley, and CBIZ - will be officially recognized at the Winning Is Everything Conference, held January 18-20, 2017 in Las Vegas.

Previously, CohnReznick was recognized as a Best Accounting Firm for Women by the Accounting MOVE Project, as well as receiving the Innovation in Women’s Programming award from the AWSCPA in 2015.
