Committee Replaces Managing Principal at CPA Firm

Regional CPA firm Margolis & Co. P.C. has named a management committee to take over the duties of Joseph R. Coluzzi, who is stepping down after 24 years as managing principal at the firm.

"I felt the time was right to step down and turn over management of the practice to the next generation," said Coluzzi in a statement. However, he plans to remain a "fully active, full-time principal with the firm."

Coluzzi will focus on developing new business, managing his existing clients and continuing to develop the firm's M&A practice.

The management committee that will be filling his previous role includes three principals at the firm: David H. Glusman, Joseph L. DeSimone and Arthur M. Scherr. The firm includes 13 principals and more than 50 professionals.
