CorpNet launches partner program for accountants

CorpNet, which provides business formation and compliance services, has launched a partner program for CPAs and accounting firms. Firms and practitioners can become resellers of the company’s legal and business services, which can be white-labeled for the firm; or become a referral partner, earning 50 percent commission on new business.

Founder and CEO of CorpNet Nellie Akalp said during the American Institute of CPAs annual conference in Las Vegas that accountants, like most small business owners, aren’t equipped to give legal advice. Partnering with CorpNet is hoped to allow practitioners to offer that service to small business clients so they in turn can become more full-service advisers, as well as adding a new revenue stream to their practice.

CorpNet offers similar services to LegalZoom, BizFilings, and Incorporate.com. “What differentiates us is we’re fast, accurate and responsive, and we provide a dedicated account manager assigned to a client for the life of their business,” Akalp said, adding that CorpNet promises a 24 hour turnaround on tasks.

Some tools CorpNet offers are 24 hour document preparation, document submission and filing, registered (legal) agent services, and custom stock certificates; and the company also just added a client portal.
