Cougar Mountain Software, a provider of business accounting software, unveiled a new version of their base accounting software, Cougar Mountain.
Version 10 focuses on improving cash flow for users' accounting, fund accounting and point-of-sale needs.
"Essentially, we made improving our customers' cash flow our bottom line for this release," said chief operating officer Jim Stone, in a statement. "Potential features had to pass the test: Will it cut transaction times, simplify or improve payment processing, improve the security of our customers' financial data?"
The latest module will accept payments by credit cards from customers and vendors, offer enhanced electronic transfer options, and include reports that speed up customer order entry tasks and inventory management. An additional feature in the new enterprise resource planning software is the ability to create a copy of a company and all its data, preserving historical data for review and analysis in the future.
