Cougar Mountain Software Releases Denali Payroll for Beta Testing

Cougar Mountain Software, provider of business, accounting, nonprofit accounting and point of sale software solutions, announced the release of their Denali Payroll accounting software to a select group of beta customers.

Denali Payroll is geared to customers currently using the predecessor product, CMS Professional Payroll.

“The enhancements and refined processes that are part of Denali Payroll have been designed to add value by saving time, money, and reducing stress,” stated Ann Geisel, product owner at Cougar Mountain Software. “Small organizations with limited tax and withholding knowledge will find the program particularly helpful. We have removed a tremendous amount of redundancy and processing steps in many of the most widely performed processes. In some areas we achieved a reduction of nearly 90 percent of the steps to complete a payroll cycle.”

After the beta testing period, scheduled to continue for a number of weeks, the Cougar Mountain team will follow up on the feedback from the beta test customers.

“All of our accounting products, including our new Denali Payroll, demonstrate the core of Cougar Mountain Software’s strength; comprehensive business and accounting products that help business owners successfully run their businesses while also providing them a high level of security through the use of audit trails and strong internal controls,” stated Cougar Mountain Software CEO Chuck Gossett.

General availability for the product is tentatively scheduled for April.
