The Financial Accounting Foundation Board of Trustees, Norwalk, announced: the selection of Dalia Blass to serve as its new board chair, succeeding current FAF chair Edward Bernard for a three-year term after his term concludes Dec. 31, 2025; the appointment of Erin Hill as the foundation's new executive director, effective Oct. 1, 2025, succeeding John Auchincloss, who will formally retire from the FAF Dec. 31, 2025; the reappointment of Jacqueline Reck to serve on the Governmental Accounting Standards Board, effective July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2032; and the reappointment of Frederick Cannon to the Financial Accounting Standards Board for a second term from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031.

The International Federation of Accountants announced that Julia Rendschmidt, currently head of division for EU and international affairs with the German Auditor Oversight Body, was appointed the new executive director of the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators, effective Oct. 1.

VIRGINIA

Brandy Vannoy, leader of the tax practice, was elected the next managing partner at Johnson Lambert, Vienna, where he has worked since 2004, succeeding John Prescott, who will end his 10-year tenure as MP at the end of 2025.
