Crowe Chizek gets new name

Crowe Chizek has changed its name to Crowe Horwath to reflect the firm's membership in the Horwath International network.The change went into effect Sept. 1, although the firm will continue to operate for a time under its old name in states where the change has not yet been approved. Crowe initiated the change to emphasize its expanding capabilities to service clients with international needs.

The firm has serviced 350 international clients in more than 40 countries so far. It joined Horwath in 1991 and is the largest member firm in the network. Horwath has more than 140 firms as members, with offices in more than 400 cities around the world.
