Crowe invests in Indian member firm

Top 25 Firm Crowe today made an investment in Crowe Advisory Services India, a member of its global network.

Crowe Global network has over 200 independent accounting and advisory firms across 130 countries. The Indian firm provides advisory, consulting and business support services such as direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing, due diligence, valuations, M&A support, risk advisory, internal audits and cybersecurity. Crowe declined to disclose the size of the investment.

"We aim to accelerate growth in the India advisory and consulting market by providing unparalleled value to our clients through expanded resources and enhanced market insights," Crowe CEO Steven Strammello said in a statement. "The combined capabilities, relationships and global perspective will enhance market opportunities for us in India."

Crowe ranked No. 13 on Accounting Today's 2025 Top 100 Firms list, with $1.3 billion in revenue, 40 offices, over 550 partners and more than 5,700 employees.

Crowe Advisory Services India CEO Vijay Thacker added, "This coming together of our two organizations will support the growth of our advisory and consulting services across India. Deeper collaboration between the firms will provide our clients with access to enhanced services, while expanding our market reach with innovative solutions, technology and greater global capabilities."

Top firms like Grant Thornton and RSM have been making similar investments in their global member firms. In November, Grant Thornton merged in Kevane Grant Thornton in Puerto Rico, and in October 2024, RSM US and RSM UK consolidated.
